Hey Everyone,

We currently have three categories:

Getting Started
Backup & Recovery
Member's Lounge

I think it may be a good idea to build out another category or two and I am hoping that you could also provide with some input into what new categories you would like to see and would benefit the community. I was thinking that we may want to have one that speaks specifically to Storage + Hardware and perhaps another around Disaster Recovery + Business Continuity.

Sound good? Would LOVE feedback and suggestions!

Hello everyone! My name is Zaid Rasid and I'm the new community manager of BackupHeroes.com. I'm excited to be a part of this community. A little bit about me: I've been in the online space for more than 8 years and my experience includes web development, online marketing, social media, blogging and more. I'm definitely passionate about digital and social.

I must be honest, I'm fairly new to backup but I've spent a good time learning about your industry. It's great to see such a passionate group of people.

My commitment to you:
- Keep the community engaged without being too intrusive
- Respond to any and all of your requests
- Participate regularly, while moderating the back-end (from spammers and junk)
